Language is the scaffolding of civilization. Through it, we develop laws, exchange ideas, and record knowledge for future generations. Some scholars date the origins of language to at least 50,000 years ago, emerging as an evolutionary advantage that helped early humans cooperate and survive.

It is likely that storytelling likely began soon after, as people wove their experiences, fears, and hopes into tales shared by firelight. Stories capture the human experience in a way that facts alone could not. Stories have the power to influence behavior, transmit culture, and create shared identities.

These ancient tools aren't just about communication; they were (and still are) about connection, meaning, and, ultimately, survival.
